Margo and Denny were married on July 11, 2015 at the beautiful Omni Bedford Springs Resort. One of the requests that they had for us, was to create a timelapse based slideshow for them. Here is there wedding story.
Summer in Pittsburgh is a crazy time for photographers. With nearly every weekend booked with a wedding or a shoot between now and October, a few open weekends are time best spent with family and friends, fishing, brewing, biking, and cooking.
We started the weekend in Pittsburgh, and then headed up to the family farm in the Laurel Highlands, for some fly fishing, and cooking out.
Then ended back in Oakmont on Monday so that I could cover a few Memorial Day Parades for the Valley News Dispatch (CLICK TO SEE THE PHOTOS AND READ THE ARTICLE)
I hope you had a wonderful long weekend, and are ready for the adventures ahead.
Brant and Laura had a beautiful fall Pittsburgh wedding. Typical of Pittsburgh, the day started beautifully, rain blew through, and a window opened in time for some beautiful portraits.
Their coverage started at St. Paul’s Cathedral in Oakland. St Paul’s is easily one of the prettiest churches in Pittsburgh. High ceilings, marble floors, and beautiful window light make it a wonderful place to photograph. After the ceremony, we only had time for a few extended family portraits, before we had to clear out for the next wedding to take place. So we headed across the street to the columns at the Carnegie Mellon Library, to shoot some family and bridal party portraits away from the rain. Afterwards we headed to Schenley Park’s Flagstaff Hill for a few more portraits, and some beautiful fall foliage.
Next stop was the LeMont on Mount Washington, for a beautiful reception with a fantastic view.
I hope you are enjoying a wonderful honeymoon. Enjoy your photos.
Dan and Stephanie were married on September 6, 2014, at St. Mary’s Cathholic Church in Glenshaw. They had a beautiful ceremony, and afterwards we headed outside for some portraits. Heavy Rain Storms were threatening all day, so rather than risk getting caught in a shower with a big wedding party, we found beautiful spots at the church for portraits. Once we arrived at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott for the reception, we snuck into the garden for a few more portraits before the reception kicked off.
Thanks for a great day. May your marriage be as blessed as your wedding day.
